Small By the Creek etching

Produced in 2010 as a class demonstration of the variety of etching techniques including drypoint, line etching and grease crayon stop out on aquatint technique. This print is 4″ by 5″ and printed from a zinc plate. Revisits the primary tree image of By the Creek series used in many of Van Wyk’s prints, this time from memory. You can see an etching being printed, Platemark, on Van Wyk’s press in his studio @vanwijkgraphics
