Sectional vase made with Jacob’s Stone clay in 2013. 16″ tall, and 10 lbs, it is thrown in sections and handles are pulled long to allow for more decorative and sculptural impact. Glazed in a base glaze in VC Matt and oversprayed in Copper green, it is fired in cone 10 reduction atmosphere making the final color nearly impossible to reproduce in the same way from piece to piece.
