Pitch and Roll lithograph

Produced in 2001, this 6 color lithograph from stone is an AP, or artist proof, which means a one of a kind print, with slight variations from the original edition of 36 prints. The edition was produced for the annual Frog Man’s Print Workshop, held annually in July and sponsored by the University of South Dakota Art Dept. Now managed by his son, Lloyd Menard gathers nationally known and regional printmakers for two weeklong workshops at the campus of USD. The portfolio consists of the instructors and select printmakers and is shared by them with portfolios kept with Lloyd’s extensive print collection. It is the original print, from which 3 editions were made using the red and the black printer stones, also available on-line.
