Creek Tree - 5 color litho

Produced in Dec. 2015, this 11″ by 15″ print from stone is based on the recurring image of a single tree in a series over the past 30 years called By the Creek, located on the artist’s property in rural Northwest Iowa. It is printed in 5 colors of ink on Arches Buff rag stock. Three passes on the press were required to produce this image; the first was a 3 color rainbow roll, the second was the key image in brown, and the third pass involved burning out part of the key image and overprinting in black ink.
