A Hand in Time Spent

185.00

Produced during grad school at Western Michigan University in 1975, this 18″ by 24″ 2 color lithograph from stone is a record of thinking through art making and mark making, using squirt guns and hand prints. It was clearly done with a nod to my artist hero at the time, Robert Rauschenburg, who routinely rewrote methods of image making; especially methods of printmaking and overlay with different materials. You can see a color sequence of printing of the litho, Focus, on Jake’s instagram account @ vanwijkgraphics
