Underground linocut print

Printed in 2014, this 6″ by 9″ linocut image was developed over several years as a demonstration and proofing block for students in printmaking classes from 2006 to 2014. The abstract image emerged over time and reflects Van Wyk’s interests in both the landscape and Angel/beast/demon images which is the basis for the Apocalyptic Vision series. Printed on oriental Koshi stock.
